We provide support for Core Compliance (ECOD) and Financial Crime Office for EMEA (FCOE) division for MUFG Bank Ltd and MUFG Securities across the EMEA region.Main Purpose of the Role:

  • To provide BAU support for to software applications utilised by Compliance in the EMEA region
  • To support the Compliance teams across EMEA
  • To undertake detailed analysis of data and application capabilities to support Financial Crime Division for the region
  • To support testing of software products by IT and by the business
  • Support incremental improvements Core Compliance and Financial Crime Divisions processes
  • To support tuning of software for enable more efficient and effective Compliance monitoring
  • To develop and provide SME knowledge to EMEA Technology and the EMEA Compliance Divisions on various software products. These include
  • FinScan
  • Siron
  • Actimize
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • BAU support which includes:
  • Resolving issues with batch runs
  • Investigate and resolve Compliance queries
  • Investigate and resolve incidents
  • Perform detailed data analysis to answer business and regulatory enquiries
  • Perform analysis and investigation into installed software products configure them to meet the requirements of Compliance Divisions
  • Support performance tuning of installed software products to meet requirements of Compliance Divisions
  • Skills and Experience:Functional / Technical Competencies:
  • PowerShell scripting
  • FTP, SFTP
  • SQL and Data Analysis
  • MS Server and MS SQL server knowledge
  • Any knowledge of FinScan. Actimize, Siron (AML, KYC and Embargo) and Tomcat would be of great benefit
  • Work Experience:
  • Solid Development experience within Financial Services
  • System Analysis experience - preferably in a compliance software environment
  • Preferable
  • AML Analyst experience - knowledge of below would be valuable
  • AML environment
  • Know Your Customer screening and software
  • Sanction screening
  • Transaction Monitoring (pattern matching)
  • Education / Qualifications:
  • Degree level and solid development experience within Financial Services
