Job role: Assistant Underwriter - SpecieA fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Underwriter to join the Specie team of this growing Lloyds Syndicate in the City. You will be working alongside a top Underwriting team who have an outstanding reputation in this business classResponsibilities will include:. Underwrite new and renewal business for Specie business including any mid-term adjustments.. Performing statistical analysis of the account. Researching information in support of underwriting decisions.. Attend client and broker presentations and meetings to further relationships and enhance knowledge of the risk.. Work with team to develop relationships with key brokers.. Attend Lloyds box as may be required.. Renewal list management. Preparation of front sheet information for UW comments. Liaise with the DUA team for Specie DUA compliance on a regular basis to ensure appropriate standards are met.. Liaise with exposure management team on a regular basis to ensure adequate data is received.. Liaise with claims team on a regular basis to review Specie claims..
