Fife College is building a renewed and focused College Leadership Team to drive it ambition to be the greatest community college we can be, building on 125 years of heritage and growth. We are excited to be recruiting a new Assistant Principal, who willlead the strategy, development and delivery of relevant, innovative curriculum and commercial income generation which are focussed on student outcomes and achievement and community and wealth building. This vacancy also comes at an exciting time for the Collegewhich will have a ground-breaking new learning campus in Dunfermline due to open during the 2025/26 academic year, and with record numbers of our successful students advancing to work and further study. The Assistant Principal will provide vision, leadership,inspiration, and motivation to specialist teams within the remit of the post, aligned to the refreshed 2025-29 college strategy. This will ensure optimal performance and student success through efficient and effective resourcing, delivery, guidance, and support.The postholder will lead on, influence, and foster strategic collaboration in support of positive internal and external stakeholder engagement at all levels to ensure sustainability and growth across the curriculum. The successful candidate will be valuesdriven and a highly motivated team player who has inspirational leadership skills. As well as an outstanding track record of achievement as a senior academic professional within a large organisation, you will have a good understanding of the role of colleges in providing a quality learning and teaching environmentthat delivers personal, social, cultural, and economic benefits and operates effectively within a commercial environment. The College has around 30,000 enrolled learners, with 6,000 studying on a full-time basis.
