Job Description

Talentedge are actively recruiting for a leading media agency in Central London to join their finance team as an Assistant Financial Accountant paying £35-40k+study support +hybrid working.Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Support the Reporting Accountant with the monthly consolidation and reporting including:
  • Assisting and coordinating local market finance leads where necessary with uploading their monthly TBs. This will involve any integral checks on the balance sheet and profit and loss
  • Review reported intercompany balances to ensure they reconcile
  • Upload headcount data by for reporting purposes
  • Responsible for accurate reporting of revenue by client at a market level.
  • Support Treasury Manager maintaining group treasury controls and working capital including:
  • Review the ageing of trade receivable balances and ensure compliance with the bad debt policy.
  • Monitor each market’s aged debt profile
  • Prepare the financial information needed by the Treasury Manager for monthly Trade Working Capital calls with each market
  • Prepare the IFRS 16 accounting journal to be posted monthly. This will be reviewed by the Reporting Accountant
  • Calculate and post the monthly tax charge for UK entities
  • Review the monthly tax provisions and reconcile the P&L charge with the movement in the balance sheet position
  • Support the Reporting Accountant to review any deferred tax assets booked by the markets, with consideration for loss relief
  • Assist the Reporting Accountant with the US and Canada tax reporting requests
  • Prepare a monthly consolidated tax file which summarises each market’s tax position.
  • Support the Financial Controller with the statutory audit
  • Engage with our auditors
Candidates must:
  • Currently studying ACCA/CIMA
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Minimum of two years finance experience
  • Experience of working with multi currenciencies
  • Attention to detail
