Job Description We are looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant, of whom are immediately available, to join a growing business based in the city.. Morgan McKinley London are delighted to be partnering with a growing business to recruit an Assistant Accoutant on a permanent basis. Please note this will require a candidate to have a short or no notice period. Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR):
  • Manage the entire AP and AR process, including invoice creation, payment processing, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the company
  • Proactively address issues and contribute ideas to streamline back-office processes.
Support Acquisitive Business:
  • Provide vital support to the finance team in the handling of financial transactions related to acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new entities into existing financial systems.
Communication and Collaboration:
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve AP and AR inquiries.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate favorable terms when necessary.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all AP and AR transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Reporting:
  • Generate regular reports on AP and AR metrics, providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in AP and AR roles
  • Proven Excel skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities.
  • Integra - highly advantageous
