The CompanyOur client is a large entrepreneurial Investment management company with exciting growth prospects.This is a great opportunity for an experienced Asset Transfers Team Leader or someone with good Transitions experience who is looking to step into a team leadership role who may have mentored more junior team members within this capacity.The Asset Transfers Team Leader will have oversight of the day to day Transitions team processes, ensuring timely transition of client assets, tracking and reporting on asset transfers and ensuring adherence to Service Level agreements and set controls .The Transitions Team Leader will assist with team development and training.The Asset Transfers Team Leader will handle all Transfers Administration including but not limited to, the processing of transfer requests received from Relationship management teams, liaising with third parties regarding settlement and instruction input,communication with counterparties, fund managers and custodians to manage transition of client assets , tracking and reporting of assets in transfer, monitoring reports and systems for receipt of funds and assets, processing cheques to custodians to applyto accounts and processing of payments to clients and third parties regarding transfers out of the business.The Asset Transfers Team Leader will help with process , procedures and systems reviews suggesting changes to drive efficiency and help identify areas of training and development within the team also assisting members of the team with more complex queries.This role will provide Management Support to the Asset Transfers team and will be the first point of contact for internal and external escalations, acting promptly and professionally to resolve any issues. Also provide relationship report maintaining relationshipswith third party administrators, Fund Managers, custodians and other departments within the business.The Candidate +3 years experience in a Transitions / Asset Transfers environment within Asset Management / Investment Management.1-2 years team leadership / team management / mentoring experience within an Investment Operations team.Knowledge of tax wrapper structures including ISA, SIPP, Offshore Bond.Strong knowledge of asset transfer process including unit trust, CREST, foreign, certificated and cash movements.Solid understanding of the wider investment operations functionsGood verbal and written communication skills
