Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Asset Onboarding and Servicing team as an Asset Servicing Associate! The roleis responsible for the interpretation, logging and subsequent monitoring of all corporate action events and ensuring all assets onthe Transact platform are correctly valued.Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting the terms and characteristics of corporate actions and producing an accurate written summary which can be passed to another team within the business for independent review.
  • Reconciling positions to determine eligibility to participate in voluntary and mandatory events, and ensuring the expected out run has been received.
  • Daily pricing of assets on the Transact platform to ensure they are correct and current.
  • Investigation of price and fund data discrepancies from automated feeds.
  • Ensuring that any cash settlements that relate to corporate actions are investigated and processed in accordance with CASS deadlines.
  • Reviewing wrapper eligibility of an asset following a Corporate Action event.
  • Liaising with Corporate Actions Execution, Client Operations and the wider Client Accounting department to resolve any issues in relation to corporate actions and product pricing.
  • Being aware of, and making reference to, the CASS 6 and 7 regulations that govern many of the activities of the Client Accounting Department.
The role would be ideal for someone from a financial services background who has a strong understanding of CASS rules and experience interpreting the characteristics of corporate actions. The ideal candidate would a confident communicator with a keen eyefor detail, and the ability to spot areas for improvement in procedures.
