MMP Consultancy are currently working with a London based Housing Association who are seeking an Asset Management Surveyor to support their asset management strategy. The successful individual will be required to survey, collate survey data collect and collate property and risk management data, for residential, non-residential and supported housing properties. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that our property remain safe whilst meeting statutory and regulatory standards.Reporting to the Surveying team manager your responsibilities will include the following:* Undertake Communal Stock Condition Surveys* Undertake Unit Stock Condition Surveys* Carry out RdSAP surveys to units* Identify Decent Homes Standard non-compliance issues* Identify Housing Health and Safety Rating issues and the specification of make safe and/or rectification works* Identify building defects and latent defects along with the specification of make safe and/or remedial works* Assist in processing survey information to inform the asset management strategy and to ensure compliance with statutory legislation* Contribute to the production of option appraisals and prioritisation of planned maintenance programmes Specification of works* Skill Requirements:* * Experience of carrying out stock condition surveys, electronic data collection and critical analysis of stock condition data* Excellent working knowledge of the Decent Homes Standard and Housing Health and Safety Rating System* Good standard of education - minimum HND level or relevant experience* Good levels of IT skills and literacy* Strong customer service focus* Track record in meeting targets and objectives* Knowledge of asset management databases.* Effective communication skills* Excellent attention to detail* Excellent attention to detailA vehicle is not required for the role Required skills
