Job Description

Role: ASD Support AssistantLocation: East LondonContract: Full timeStart: ASAPRate: £90-100Do you have a strong passion for working in SEN If so, we are looking for an exciting new opportunity after the half term. A creative and inclusive Primary School are looking for confident, ambitious, and outgoing Support Assistants to provide support studentswith SEN within a mainstream school.The ideal candidate:

  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year school experience
  • CACHE level 3 qualification or Equivalent
  • Safeguarding experience
  • GCSE Maths and English
