Job Description

Outreach Teacher - ASCRedbridgePT £40 - £60 / HourImmediate start - October half term 2023Are you a dedicated and passionate educator looking to make a positive impact on the life of a pupil with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)SANZA Teaching Agency is currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team and provide one-on-one support to a pupil who is awaiting placement in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in the London Borough of Redbridge. The pupil is mostlynon verbal, uses a visual timetable and in year 6.This part-time position offers flexible working hours of 3 to 6 hours per day.Responsibilities:Work closely with the pupil to create an individualized learning plan based on their specific needs, abilities, and goals.Provide tailored educational support and guidance to enhance the pupils academic, social, and emotional development.Implement specialized teaching strategies to address the unique learning styles and challenges associated with ASC.Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the pupils education to ensure a holistic approach to their development.Monitor the pupils progress regularly, track their achievements, and provide feedback to stakeholders. Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes engagement, independence, and positive behaviour.Requirements:QTS with a relevant teaching qualification.Proven experience working with individuals with ASC or similar learning disabilities in an educational setting.Sound knowledge of evidence-based teaching practices and interventions for pupils with ASC.Ability to develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to the pupils specific needs and strengths.Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals.
