Our client, a new fan subscription-based platform, is seeking an Artist Acquisition Executive to develop and acquire new acts/musicians and source new opportunities to engage with artists.Key responsibilities will include: Planning and executing innovative artist acquisition strategy. Managing new creator pipeline and deal flow. Maintaining open access to the artist community and wider music industry. Contributing to the development of new music content programs. Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, and Legal to facilitate promotional opportunities for creators. Providing recommendation to add value to the business music product roadmap. Requirements: Understanding of the music industry and the economics relating to creator platforms, emerging content formats, and the online music space. Substantial music industry experience at a label, management, agency, or digital marketing at a DSP. Existing relationships with labels, artists, and management companies. Commercial, hip hop, electronic music experience. Thorough understanding of the music industrys growth objectives. Experience of both traditional and new media landscapes, including social and content streaming platforms. Previous work experience in artist relations, A&R or management experience, within the tech industry essential. Confident working in a fast-paced work environment.
