Job Description

Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms Products Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Bathroom Products Industry Sector: KBB, Sanitaryware, Kitchen Products, Bathroom Furniture, Shower Trays, Bath Tubs, Bathroom Ceramics and Accessories, Independent Merchants, National Merchants, Retailers, Main Contractors, Sub ContractorsArea to be covered: London & South EastRemuneration: £35,000 - £40,000 + 10% bonusBenefits: Company car & full benefitsThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Bathroom Products will involve:

  • Field sales position promoting a manufactured range of bathroom products such as: sanitary ceramics, shower trays, shower accessories, plumbing fittings, hand rails, shower-toilets, toilet seats and accessories
  • 60% of your time will be spent selling through the distribution channels via independent and national merchants, retailers and wholesalers such as: Plumbase, Wolseley, City Plumbing, BSS and PTS
  • The remaining 40% percentage will be spend stimulating demanding with main & sub-contractors
  • Dealing with average order values ranging from £500 - £10k depending on the size of the projects
  • Taking over a territory currently turning over £600k with huge growth potential
  • Will inherit circa 200+ accounts
  • Will be required to generated some new business even if this is from existing relationships
    • The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Bathroom Products with:
  • Must have construction field sales experience selling an interior building product selling to national and independent merchant, retailers AND main contractors and sub-contractors
  • Ideally sold bathroom associated products such as: sanitary ceramics, shower trays, shower accessories, plumbing fittings, hand rails, hardware products, shower-toilets, toilet seats and accessories
  • Must have a hunter sales personality
  • Resilient personality with genuine sales ability
  • Organised, professional and good time management
