Job Description

Junior Acoustic Consultant - LondonWe have an excellent opportunity for a talented Acoustics Consultant to specialist in Architectural Acoustics and work for an award-winning firm in the heart of London! My client has their own acoustics studio which youll use to undertaking various noisemodelling tasks for a range of clients including the O2 Group, world-renowned theatres and fitness centres across the UK.Candidates are required to have 1+ years experience undertaking environmental noise surveys - applicants with experience in building / architectural acoustics are preferred but not essential. Institute of Acoustics membership is compulsory as is a fullUK driving licence. Candidates should be keen to progress rapidly & develop their skills within acoustics!Daily duties:

  • Undertake noise assessments and surveys.
  • Fee proposals.
  • Input at design meetings.
  • Noise modelling work using software including CadnaA & ODEON.
  • Prepare and complete technical reports.
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities and engineers regarding project requirements.
  • Project management.
  • Continued professional development!
