Application Security Lead - FinTech - LondonOur client is one of the worlds leading trading and financial technology (FinTech) companies, based in the City of London in purpose-built, modern offices overlooking the Thames. They build cutting edge, ultra-low latency trading platforms and are looking for some to lead their Application Security (AppSec) team.Youll lead a team of AppSec specialists to shape and improve their approach to application security, implementing new, innovative strategies for more secure applications.Day to day youll work closely with software development and engineering teams to strengthening and define secure development best practicesYoull have to chance to lead technical training, be involved in threat modelling, creating code standards and reviews, and automated code validation.As the Lead youll have a lot of freedom to determine the best way to accomplish the companys goals.Requirements:- Strong background in application security (appsec) engineering with a proven record of implementing the secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) - Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 & MITRE CWE 25 - Experience delivering training for secure coding - Good experience of threat modelling - A passionate for information security and be involved in staying up to date with developments in the AppSec field - Experience of Java and / or C++ development would be ideal - Knowledge of tools such as Jenkins, Kubernets, Docker and AWS would be perfect
