For a rapidly expanding and ambitious brand, KnownFour are currently seeking an experienced Android Architect / Lead Developer with a passion for app development for a challenging new opportunity to redevelop a highly scalable and complex global mobile application.The successful candidate will be able to create, drive and own a technical vision akin to the company’s goals; have a strong understanding of architecture patterns (MVI, MVV, MVP and clean architecture); work across the whole SDLC ensuring development is according to best practice, consistent scalable and secure; carry out A/B testing; run feasibility studies; demonstrate a good understanding of SOLID principles and OO Programming languages; experience working with CI/CD platforms; the ability to be hands-on in development and design as well as offer mentorship, technical leadership and collaboration across teams; and be well versed in industry trends in mobile technologies with a true passion for Android and app development.The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:-Significant experience in developing successful, scalable Native Android Applications with Kotlin and Java as a lead / architect-Strong product and user experience and ability to own product development and drive design-Familiarity with tools such as RxAndroid, Android Architecture Components, Dagger2, Retrofit, OkHttp, Animation, Kotlin Multiplatform etcThe client is offering very competitive salary and benefits and please do apply to in the first instance for immediate review and consideration.
