Job Description

Job Title- Analytics Analyst, ASLocation- BangaloreRole DescriptionThe Data Analyst within the Analytics team plays a significant role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time. He/she will focus on design, development, testing and implementation of data analytics workstream and will primarily be responsiblefor contributing and coordinating solution delivery with internal customer base and cross functional application leads ensuring overall data quality and efficiency associated with Analytical and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. Your key responsibilities
  • Mining data from primary and secondary sources, reconciling data between different systems, reorganizing said data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine.
  • Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
  • Collaborating with business leaders and technology teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
  • Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
  • Report delivery status, issues, and dependencies to lead with possible options to tackle.
Your skills and experience
  • Provide support in identifying existing data gaps, building new data pipelines, and providing automated solutions to deliver data to applications that support the business requirements
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and proven track record of turning large amounts of multifaceted data into meaningful information.
  • Knowledge of database design and development, data models, data mining techniques and segmentation.
  • Advanced knowledge and hands on experience working with SQL, Python/R, Impala, Alteryx & visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Knowledge of data processing platforms such as Hadoop and Apache Spark
