The Product Control Group, within the Finance department, is responsible for understanding, substantiating, and controlling the revenue recognition of the trading business with a specific focus on the balance sheet and income statement. The Product Controlgroup does this through daily review of P&L attribution, reserves & adjustments, review of front to back reconciliations, new trade reviews in conjunction with new trade/desk level risk oversight, and ensures a firm understanding on the drivers of P&L to produceaccurate daily and period to date reporting & analysis Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst to support our global Commodities Markets & Finance businesses based in London. The Commodities Markets and Finance group provides clients with risk and capital solutions across The Commodities Markets and Finance is a global business with operations across North America, Australia, Europe, and Asia. The Division provides tailored risk management solutions to an international client base through over-the-counter derivatives and physicalcommodities. For this role specifically in the London based Product Control team that will include Agricultural Commodities, Base and Precious Metals, Bulks as well as Energy products across European Power and Gas, Carbon, and LNG. In this role you will take responsibility of reporting of daily P&L and associated reconciliations including daily attribution of P&L performance and associated controls. You will prepare/review and explain attributions of daily P&L with reference to new tradingactivity and cancel/amends. We will also look to you to participate in the month-end close and ensure compliance with all Macquarie financial policies and processes. You will document job processes and procedures, including identification of process enhancementsand improvements. The role will also see you have regular interaction with offshore team based in Gurugram, India and Jacksonville, FL. It will also give you scope to build strong relationships with Front Office, Market Risk, Financial Control to ensure aneffective control environment is maintained and be able to identify risk and enhancements to the overall control framework.
