Job Description

Java - Solace - Low latency systems - High-performance applications - Multithreading - Concurrency - FX Senior eFX Java Developerwe are currently recruiting for a leading investment bank located in the heart of London. this role would require you to develop real-time algorithmic FX trading and hedging systems.This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a global team to design and implement real time solutions.Required

  • Significant experience designing, implementing and delivering complex globally distributed high availability real-time trading systems.
  • Experience effectively applying technology best practices and processes to a high-paced Capital Markets organization
  • Excellent server side core Java skills.
  • Have been involved in building pricing and/or execution engines before
  • Ideally FX but can consider Equities domain knowledge
  • Ability to deal directly with Quants Analysts on a day to day basis face to face in the office ( working remotely is ok very occasionally but being in the office is preferred due to the nature of the front office work)
  • built in Java low latency systems from scratch for another bank or fintech.
Technical
  • Significant experience developing, maintaining, and deploying high-performance, low-latency applications.
  • Design abilities, which will involve building designing and deploying managed and unmanaged solutions.
  • Multithreaded skills & use of current Java Frameworks and python
  • Knowledge of messaging systems such as Solace, Tibco/RV, and IBM MQSeries and how to integrate them
