They have major plans to expand over the next 2 years;they are looking for ambitious, curious, and entrepreneurial technology professionals who are looking to be part of a bold and transformational plan.OverviewThe AI / Data Science Engineer will report to the Chief Architect and will work within the Digital Solutions team to assist in the realisation our Digital Growth Enabler. Youll be focused on accelerating the adoption of AI & databased technologies withinthis companies products and operations.The AI / Data Science Engineer will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and establishing reference architectures and solutions to enable this growing company to adopt the latest in Data & AI technologiesKey Responsibilities

1. Collaborate closely with the Chief Architect and Digital Solutions team to create scalable, secure, and business-beneficial solutions using modern technologies. Encourage adoption across individual companies.
2. Promote AI and data-driven best practices and solutions throughout the group to support strategic growth, simplify processes, reduce implementation time, and cut costs. Achieve this through:
   • Developing evolving reference architectures for companies adopting new AI and data technology.
   • Offering best practice consulting across the group for AI and data implementations.
   • Assisting in the selection of preferred vendors for implementing reference architectures.
   • Providing consulting to operating companies for AI and digital solutions.
3. Research and assess new technologies and solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, mitigate system risks, and accelerate time-to-market. Oversee Proof of Concepts and Technologies.
4. Create Proof of Concept (POC) and Prototype solutions to meet the business needs and digital strategy of operating companies, utilizing technologies like Open AI, ChatGPT, and Edge Impulse Computer Vision.
5. Develop demonstrations and conduct internal knowledge-sharing sessions to offer best practice guidance to key stakeholders within the company.
6. Ensure that security is a fundamental consideration in all technology strategies and solutions.

Requirements:

1. Possess 3-5 years or more of hands-on experience in integration and data architecture, demonstrating a record of accomplishment of implementing these technologies to deliver tangible business advantages.
2. Display expertise in designing, implementing, and managing NoSQL data storage solutions, encompassing platforms like SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure SQL DW, PostgreSQL, RedisCache, and Azure Data Lake.
3. Display an advanced comprehension of data integration strategies and the foundational technology platforms that support them.
4. Exhibit proficiency in designing and configuring data movement, streaming, and transformation (ETL) technologies, such as Azure Data Factory, Kafka, and LogicApps.
5. Demonstrate expertise in multi-system data integration using recognized industry standards such as SOA, EAI, BPI, and API. Utilize API Gateway, iPaaS, and ESB technologies like Mulesoft, Tibco, Informatica, Workato, and Apigee.
6. Possess extensive experience in data visualization through tools like PowerBI and Tableau, leveraging data to generate concrete business benefits, ideally within the Microsoft Azure technology ecosystem.
7. Possess knowledge of canonical data model design techniques and their application in constructing enterprise-wide data and integration strategies.
8. Have previous experience in formulating analytics use cases and successfully implementing them, with a preference for experience within the Microsoft Azure technology stack.
