Job Description A fantastic opportunity for a highly Agile Project Manager with a broad project delivery background to join a high performing team with huge transformation plans. TEAMThe Agile Project Manager will work alongside other colleagues to support the implementation of the Project & Data Strategy. Working from the Data Function, a multidisciplinary core team supported by data experts across the business, the rolewill, primarily, manage the products backlog (we run under agile principles and have many products delivered to the business, some of these are services) making sure everyone is clear on work for the next sprint, etc. The role will also work on a wide range of projects, including helping to map data activities across the business, and help in identify the right processes and structures for our data capture. To be successful in this role, youll need to:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the Backlog for all of our products and services
  • Oversee delivery of products, running sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives and all other agile rituals as required and appropriate.
  • Monitoring progress of the delivery of work packages.
  • Ensuring the delivery of work packages across the team.
  • Act as an internal consultant to the business when interpreting user requests and where appropriate, making suggestions for better/alternative ways of obtaining and presenting the required information.
  • Determining appropriate methods to analyze operations, relevant information, and data.
  • Documenting findings, preparing reports, and making recommendations.
  • Requirements gathering, discovery and analysis as needed.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required.

KEY SKILLS
  • Experience as a delivery/project manager
  • Sprint planning & backlog management
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to apply agile and lean practices into all aspects of your work, seeking to improve flow
  • and reduce wait time wherever possible
  • Experience of Agile and Lean practices
  • Lifecycle perspective - manage delivery of products and services at different phases
  • A desire to learn
DESIRABLE SKILLS
  • Experience in user research and requirements elicitation and analysis
  • User journey mapping experience
  • Experience with global data transformation initiatives, especially digital and data
  • transformations
  • Experience in working on the design of user centred services
  • Practical process mapping experience
  • Experience of developing clear, robust and accurate data specific user stories and requirements.
  • Support and facilitate workshops and deliver presentations to capture user needs, generate user
  • stories and epics, and generate feedback for both offline and digital services.
