Pay: Actual salary £5,599 perannum (£16,825 full time Start Date: Immediate About the role: Cherry OrchardPrimary Academyhas a fantastic opportunity to appoint an After School Club Supervisor to joinour Primary Academy, which opened in September 2017.This role is ideal for those who genuinely have a passion for helping childrenand supporting the Extended Schools team to provide excellent extra-curricularschool provision for our pupils. Our appointed candidate will receive the fullsupport and training from colleagues and Teachers and will be part of anestablished and enthusiastic team. Each and every member of staff,regardless of their position or seniority, is expected to participate in theoverall running of the school and to act as a positive role model for ourstudents. In and out of the classroom you will encourage and promote positivebehaviour and effectively manage any situation that threatens to impact on theprogress of other students. The basis of this role is fixedterm until December 2021, 15 hours per week, Term Time only. We are looking for someonedemonstrates the following: Previous, recent experience in aneducation setting preferred - but not essentialBasic IT skills required or theability to acquire these with trainingDemonstrate an independence andability to work under pressurePossess excellent communicationskills to work alongside staff, young people and parentsAbility to plan and deliverexciting and engaging activities to enrich our wraparound childcareUnderstanding the importance ofworking collaboratively within a teamClosing Date:29/03/2021 at 23:45 Interviews: TBC Information about the trustWorking for the academy: CherryOrchard Primary Academy is a new two-form entry primary academy for studentsbetween the ages of 3 to 11 that opened in September 2017. The academy admits amaximum of 60 children into each year between Reception and Year 6 havinginitially opened with places available in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Wecontinue to expand into Year 5 from September 2020 and will be taking onadditional classes over the coming months and years, hence this exciting newteaching role has materialised. The academy enjoys brand newfacilities, a nursery for pre-school age children, and a small centre forchildren with speech, communication and language needs. At the heart ofEbbsfleet Garden City, Cherry Orchard Primary Academy is the focalpoint of this brand new community, providing local families with an outstandingeducational facility.
