Working with the development team across the African continent, you will screen and evaluate all new projects (own development and acquisition) for ESG considerations under both public funding mechanisms such as the IFC and World Bank, as well as privateequity and capital considerations.Engaging with a broader ESG in each of the geographical regions which the company operates in, ensure that the project is developed, constructed and managed according to strict HSSE and ESG guidelines.Travel to the geographical regions will be essential. Thus previous experience in developing infrastructure projects within the African continent is essential. French communication skills are highly desirable due to the organisations current project footprint. Our client is a leading player in the African Independent Power Producer industry, with numerous successful projects to their name. They develop to own, so this role allows the development professionals to see how there plans play out over the years -a rare opportunity for direct feedback on the impact you create. We love this client! So if you are keen to make an impact on the African continent, while driving the move to global net-zero, have a passion for Africa, and a desire to work in a small, close knit team, then give me a call: Priscilla:
