Not only will you be an integral part of the unique and exciting transition through the unitary process, you will also be entitled to a range of different benefits to make sureyou are happy both at work and at home.About the roleHere at Buckinghamshire County Council we are growing our ASYE Academy and as such, we are looking for an Advanced Practitioners (ASYE Academy) to lead and support the next generation of Social Workers througha range of innovative schemes i.e. the ASYE academy, Apprenticeships and Step Up to Social Work.Your main responsibilities will include: providing reflective supervision and mentoring to a cohort of Newly Qualified Social Workers observing practice and assessingevidence of progression facilitating regular one-to-one and group feedback sessions working closely with NQSW line managers to ensure records of support and assessments are completedAbout youWe are looking for a committed Social Work professional, who is passionateabout supporting and developing Newly Qualified Social Workers towards excellence in practice.You will have: a Social Work Degree or equivalent significant experience as a Social Worker within various teams and settings Ideally a Stage 2 Practice Educatorqualification (e.g. Practice Teacher Award or PEPS) or working towards it excellent communication and managerial /organisational skills proven teaching and assessing skills Strong experience in Assessment Extensive experience and knowledge of framework andlegislation within Childrens Social CareOther informationWe reserve the right to close the vacancy once we have received sufficient applications, so please be advised to submit your application as early as possible.You will be required to apply for a DBSat an enhanced level.
