Job Description

Secretary / Administrator city / home to £35,000Leading LLoyds broker are looking to recruit an experienced Secretary / AdministratorTravelYou will arrange travel and visas in accordance with company travel policy. This will involve booking flights and hotels for colleagues at competitive rates, completing and submitting travel authorisation forms,ExpensesYou will prepare and submit expense claims for approval.Event managementThroughout the year various client events are held in London; for example, the Treaty Seminar. This will involve you sending out invitations, liaising with delegates and presenters, preparing and sending out joining instructions, establishing the itineraryand running order, editing and collating course material, answering queries, preparation of certificates, liaising with UIBL IT and Marketing colleagues, and collating feedback.You will help arrange meetings and meeting rooms, arrange refreshments, and book restaurants, accommodation in company flats and hotels.Absence and holiday recordsYou will maintain Divisional absence/attendance records,New JoinersYou will ensure IT equipment and mobile devices are ordered, network and system access are provisioned, and workstations are available for a new joiners start date.Minute taking, typing and document preparationYou will take minutes for Divisional meetings. You will type reports and create PowerPoints and spreadsheets for Heads of Division.Experience in the above essential along with excellent MS office skills and an Insurance backgroundMW Appointments is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
