twentyAI are supporting a SaaS business that have built a commodity trading solution through Acumatica which offers easy market specific platforms across a range of products and services. The solution covers all issues traders face, from risk and purchasescheduling to accounting, invoicing, and hedging exchanges. There is a newly created opportunity to join the business to deliver a strategically important technology modernisation project on their flagship product. With expected business growth and an increasingcustomer base, it is critical for the business to advance the current way of working in with a focus on scalability in preparation for a more complex technology product set from 2024.The business requires a senior technologist who will be responsible for defining, establishing and implementing best coding standards and practices within the team across the SDLC, including high quality code documentation. A critical part of this role willbe to create an environment that fosters collaboration through utilising GitHub and Azure DevOps with a shared codebase. The senior technologist would take a lead role in code reviews, pair programming and building an automated testing and release environment.The role is fully endorsed by the CTO to drive forward technology change and spearhead the technical decisions within the team to advance the current technical offering.Requirements:
