We have partnered with a leading Lloyds syndicate seeking a skilled and highly motivated Reserving Actuarial Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside our Reserving team in a variety of areas, including developing reserveestimates and performing risk analysis.Responsibilities:- Supporting the Syndicates reserving process through the development of loss and expense reserves- Assisting with the preparation of analytical reports and presentations on the loss experience- Collaborating with underwriters, claims adjusters, finance and other stakeholders to analyse trends and forecast future claims exposure- Supporting the development and validation of internal models, reserves methodologies and assumptions- Providing expertise on reserving related issues to business units outside the actuarial departmentRequirements:- Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field,- Good progress with actuarial exams, with aim to achieve full qualification,- At least 1 years of relevant experience in general insurance- Familiarity with reserving software and data manipulation tools,- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,- Excellent communication and presentation skills,- Proficient in Microsoft ExcelThis is a terrific opportunity to build your career in a high visibility role where you will have a real impact on the overall profitability.If you believe that you are the ideal candidate for this role, please apply with your CV
