Are you a small or medium firm Accounts Assistant, Trainee Accountant or Accounts Semi Senior from a practice background looking to upgrade to a niche accountancy firm based in a prime location in the City (close to Fenchurch Street, Canon Street, Bank,London Bridge) where you will be trained so that you can work with very large listed, overseas and group clients Would you like to work for a global Outsourcing and Accounting Services Provider which has truly global reach and services a number of very largeclients, including overseas, listed, banking / financial services and group companies Would you like to work in a small firm environment (25 staff), where you will not only work on large listed businesses, but also some SME / rapid growth financial servicesand technology based clients in the City Would you like to gain exposure to IFRS and other complex accounting and regulatory frameworks Managing your own portfolio of clients, your responsibilities will include preparing monthly and quarterly managementaccounts, statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS, providing the external audit file for clients, liaising with Big 4 auditors, VAT returns, corporation tax returns, bookkeeping, liaising with HMRC and other advisory based projects. If you havepayroll experience you can also be responsible for processing payrolls from start to finish for a number of high profile City based clients (optional). You will receive study support for your remaining exams and on job training will be provided.To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be studying either the AAT, ACCA or ACA, with strong academics and you must currently be working for a good quality, small or medium size practice firm with experience of the above duties (particularlystatutory and management accounts if at Semi Senior level but if you are more junior you must have general bookkeeping and Vat duties). You must have at least 2 years experience working for a UK based practice firm if a Semi Senior and 1 year experience ifa more junior level. You must show drive, ambition and be looking to progress in the future. Experience using CCH Accounts Production, Xero and Quickbooks Online would be advantageous.This rapidly growing, niche practice with around 25 staff is venture capital backed and has many exciting growth plans for the future. They will offer you a challenging role, high levels of responsibility and future progression to senior level in a shortspace of time. You will be based in a specialist department which provides accountancy services to external clients, many of which consist of large listed business based overseas which have a UK based subsidiary, as well as a growing number of interestingentrepreneurial and high growth businesses based in London.
