Job Description

I am currently recruiting an Accounts Receivable Assistant to working for a growing software company in Central London. This is a permanent role, offering hybrid working.Client DetailsMy client is a growing software company who have recently received Private equity backing and are looking to expand their footprint across Europe.Due to this growth they are looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 12 months experience in accounts receivable to work for a growing company.Sector: ITDescriptionAccounts Receivable Assistant, LondonResponsibilities:

  • Working with NetSuite system to process all transactional elements of the revenue cycle including
  • Process sales invoices and distribute by email or upload onto client portal ensuring relevant backup is supplied as per requirements.
  • Raising credit notes, as and when required
  • Set up new customer accounts, complete all on boarding tasks
  • Completing customer portal registrations and Vendor set up forms
  • Deal with customer invoice queries, bank account verification/change, receipt queries
  • Keep customer records up to date and clean
  • Completing customer portal registrations and Vendor set up forms
  • Review customer contracts and update accounts
  • Assist the credit controller as and when required
  • Assist with customer sales renewals
  • Assist with month end activities
  • Assist with auditors when required and provide all requested information and documents
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Other ad hoc duties as required including monthly reporting and supporting the finance team
Profile
  • Part Qualified in either ACCA/CIMA/AAT - preferred. Strong academics including English Language and Maths at GCSE standard or above
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills;
  • Self-motivated;
  • Has a high standard of work and ability to complete work within agreed timescales;
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships within the department and rest of the company;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and in the fast-moving technology industry;
  • Ability to work in a proactive and collaborative manner, within a team;
  • Has an awareness of the importance of confidentiality, information security and data protection;
  • Basic Knowledge of NetSuites & Salesforce - preferable but not essential;
  • Ideally having worked in a PE backed SaaS high growth company
Job OfferThe candidate will be paid between £28,000 - £32,0000 depending on experience.
