Job Description

This is an exciting new role in a growing retail company based in South West London.This is a Accounts Payable Supervisor role starting on a temporary basis with a good potential to become permanent.Client DetailsMy client is a growing retail company across 13 different countries.Their team is growing and are looking for a new Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team.DescriptionYou will be responsible for:

  • Processing and coding supplier invoices & employee expenses into Netsuite Accounting accurately and methodically
  • Chasing up unapproved invoices
  • Managing the AP mailbox, and responding to queries both internal and external in a timely manner
  • Reconciling to supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
  • Raising payments of supplier invoices and employee expenses
  • Managing and helping to develop the Account Payable Executive
  • Developing relationships with suppliers and managers
  • Finding ways to improve invoice and payment systems; and advising on changes to improve the Accounts Payable processes
  • Ad hoc tasks assisting the Controlling and Business Finance teams as necessary
ProfileThe successful candidate:
  • Considerable experience in Accounts Payable; dealing with multiple currencies, departments and group entities (Netsuite experience would be ideal)
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Been exposed to high volume invoice processing
  • A passion for fast-changing environments where you will thrive with the pace
  • Fantastic attention to detail, and an analytical mindset
