Job Description

Kenny Recruit are currently working with an exciting and well established media agency in their search for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. We have recruited for this company for a number of years and receive nothingbut positive feedback from our candidates. A great company with a great culture, with an environment where you can learn and develop if you wish to.The Accounts Payable Assistant will principally act as support to the Account Payables Manager, as well as undertaking various other duties within the finance team to ensure the effective and efficient running of the business.Pay- £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Location- Central London (hybrid model but with the need to be in the office 5 days per week during probation)Working hours- 9.00am - 5.30pmResponsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring all Press, Outdoor & Broadcasting suppliers accounts are reconciled on monthly basis.
  • Ensuring payment is made to suppliers promptly at month end.
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure we have statements and copy invoices.
  • Dealing with invoice queries that arise and providing support to the media teams to resolve queries.
  • Communicate effectively to the suppliers on all on-going queries.
  • Reviewing monthly creditor reports to identify double payments, duplicate bookings or cancelled bookings.
  • Distributing DDS system reports to the finance team.
  • Filing of supplier payments.
  • Daily distribution of post within finance team.
  • Assist Finance Manager & Payables Manager with any other necessary duties.
Role Requirements:
  • At least a years experience of working in a similar role.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated candidate.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Comfortable liaising with suppliers via telephone and email.
  • Ability to multi task in accordance with changing priorities.
  • Able to build good rapport with immediate colleagues and suppliers.
  • Team player and positive attitude towards contributing and learning.
