About the team This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable administrator to join an innovative, fast-paced and market-changing fintech. Our Finance team is looking for a confident and adept Finance professional to come in, hit the ground running, and ensure the AP function remains a trusted and effective part of the Funding Circle accounting family. This is a particularly important role as the AP function at Funding Circle is essentially a team of one - the right person will own the end-to-end process. There is also scope for bringing innovation and insight to the role, as we look to improve and refine our accounting processes in general, and specifically within our AP workflows. What you will be doing • Receive & record invoices from suppliers • Monitor accounts email address & reply to ad-hoc queries from business/external • stakeholders • Support and advice on move to automated invoice processing/use of OCR technology • Overseeing small volume of Accounts Receivable invoicing monthly • Ad-hoc analysis and reporting • Cheque banking/writing Are you • Ideally 2-3 years experience in an AP administrator role • A strong sense of what makes the AP function operate effectively • Pride in taking ownership of processes and seeking improvements • Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy • Excellent communication skills both oral and written • Personable attitude happy to liaise with internal/external stakeholders at all levels • Exceptional organisational skills. • Ability to adapt to change in business and modify processes accordingly Did you know Research shows that some people are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single criteria.
