Job Description

In scope of Position based promotions (INTERNAL only)Job Title: Accounting Close - Accounting Close - Entity Close UK - Senior Analyst Location: Manila Corporate Title Senior Analyst The Accounting Close team ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based. You will act as the process owner ensuring an in-depth understandingand appreciation of the numbers and financial transactions of the Branch. You will be primarily responsible for the preparation of inputs to the financial reports of the Branch, covering data gathering, data polishing, data reporting, and local/regulatoryreporting, as deemed appropriate Our team of experts will be there to support your development to ensure you excel in this role. Your key responsibilities
  • Participates in the activities as set in the operational plans
  • Prepares and submits various IFRS and HGB disclosures, including exception handling
  • Coordinates and escalates critical issues to Supervisor
  • Drives resolution of issues. Escalates outstanding process issues to Supervisor. Presents critical issues and respective resolution during post-mortem discussions
  • Monitors Issue resolution and works with involved stakeholders (ie. IT) in performing RCA as required
  • Prepares KPI details
Your skills and experience
  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy, or its Business-related equivalents with Accounting courses
  • Experience in accounting, finance or audit gained from the Financial Services, Audit or BPO industry would be beneficial
  • Combined analytical and problem solving skills
  • A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently
