Accountant / Luxury International Facial Clinic - Hybrid Working Initially

Job Description

Daytime Healthcare are working with a Luxury Clinic in Central London who are looking for an Accountant to join their well established team!*Hybrid working initially*Job RoleAccounting:

• Verifying and reconciling sales and Payment receipt in bank, Cash, payment gateway system and POS booking system.
• Posting, updating, and reconciling of sales data into QuickBooks
• Cash and Bank Reconciliation

Vendor/Supplier Payments:

• Verifying and analyzing all suppliers Invoices as per tax compliance requirements
• Reconciling with supplier statement of accounts
• Preparing & planning cash flow forecast

Payroll:

• End to end payroll processing
• Responsible to resolve any queries for final approval from the Regional Manager
• Complete payroll journal and post to QuickBooks
• Submit final payroll to HMRC and upload pension amounts to the portal
• Share employee pay slips and clarify payroll related queries pertaining to calculations
• Set up new employees into the payroll system and pension system upon receipt. of the new starter paperwork
• Complete annual payroll at the end of the year

Audit:

• Planning, meeting and upload all required data to audit portal, action all queries, review meetings, sign off processes

Vat & Taxation:

• Financial Summary for all clinics. Running a manual journal into QuickBooks and ensuring that VAT is accounted for correctly

Month End Reconciliation / Adjustment:

• Verifying and checking of petty cash and Credit Card expenses and reconciling with accounting books
• Verifying & posting of inventory movement from Corporate to Clinic (Transfer Voucher)
• Inventory reconciliation and passing of adjusting entries

Monthly Reporting:

• Preparing of monthly Financial Statement for Management. (Br. & Corporate with Income
• Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Royalty report, Detailed expenses report)
• Reporting of Management statement to the Corporate based Finance manager
• Reporting of Miscellaneous report to Management as per requirements.

Finance:

• Taking Responsibility of all cash management, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Work with senior managers to efficiently develop budget and forecast of financial reports
• Reporting weekly comparison reports of Clinic sales, headcount, and client’s appointments

Other Responsibilites:

• Account and reconcile for stock on the balance sheet in the warehouse and in clinic from monthly stock takes and GRNs from the warehouse
• Act as the main the point of contact with shipping companies when receiving stock and liase with warehouse to receive products
• Review of energy contracts and submit meter readings
• Budgeting and Forecasting for the opening of new branches.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Advanced degree in Accounting and Finance
• Proven working experience with a minimum of 3 years as an Accountant within the UK
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience within the retail sector with branch accounting experience
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Excellent accounting software user knowledge and acquainted with using multiple or either (QuickBooks, FreshBooks, Wave, Sage.)
• Experience with creating business plans, forecasting and financial planning and analysis.
