Job Description

Company: Robelko International Leathers is an established sales agency (family business established over 40 years ago), representing an exclusive group of leading European leather tanneries and webbing manufacturers who supply luxury fashionand interiors brands within the European and American Markets.Our role is to support these tanneries with their sales to customers in Europe and America - primarily to well-known luxury fashion brands producing handbags, shoes and other apparel. As a part of our role, we also work closely with factories and manufacturersin Europe and Asia following the production of leather and webbing through to the final manufacture of goods for global retail.Vacancy: Account Manager / Sales administrator - This fun and diverse role is responsible for the day-to-day management / administration of existing customers orders and their suppliers. Many of these are based in Spain and Italy and sothe chosen candidate must be fluent in either / both of these languages as well as being fully conversant in English. The relationships with these suppliers is long-established and so the successful candidate will enjoy an energetic and collaborative workingrelationship with them.An essential part of what we do involves developing and maintaining good relationships with our existing customers and suppliers and so the successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills to be able to understand, solve and mitigateany issues the suppliers or brands may face. No other specific previous experience is required as full training will be provided but the right candidate must be well organised, efficient and computer literate.Main duties / skills required:

  • Fluent in English as well as Italian and/ or Spanish.
  • Work cross-functionally to coordinate and collate information from relevant sources, presenting it in a format that allows others to use it.
  • Efficient, well-organised and a good forward planner who prioritises in a logical order, can multi-task and problem solve.
  • Maintain supplier and brand relationships through swift, clear and factual information sharing.
  • Clearly respond to enquiries relating to potential, new and outstanding orders to maintain relationships and better understand / achieve their needs.
  • Order processing and monitoring (booking orders, advising customers of expected delivery dates, following up order confirmations and checking delivery etc).
  • Helping to arrange company attendance and participation at trade fairs in London, Paris, Milan and New York.
  • Assisting with the day to day running of the showroom, including diary management and travel booking.
  • Excellent IT Skills, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
The successful candidate will be:
  • Fluent in English as well as Italian and / or Spanish.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced working environment, moving priorities and changing plans
  • Personable and enjoy dealing with a range of suppliers and customer and be capable of fostering strong professional relationships.
  • Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role.
  • A good communicator (both via email and phone) with a good memory.
  • Someone who thrives in a busy and proactive environment.
  • Confident self-starter who is able to work both alone and also as part of a team.
  • Previous sales experience and knowledge of the leather industry, wholesale or B2B relationships are desirable but not essential.
