Job Description

Global Account Director- Enterprise Data Services| New Business | London | Up to £90,000 Base (£150,000 OTE)A global, multi award-winning telecoms organisation are seeking an experienced Senior Global Account Director who enjoys hunting, engaging and selling to new prospects. The organisation network infrastructure, services and cloud connectivity to Enterprises. The organizations global network footprint connects more significant fiber across Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East and looking to expand these specific areas.The Senior Global Account Director- Enterprise Data Services to build and manage relationships with prospective Enterprise customers to gain strategic positioning with decision makers and secure New Business. The role will be focused on developing an Enterprise business selling global connectivity solutions to Multinational Corporations within the sales region.Telecoms | Enterprise Sales | New Business Hunting | Account Management | Sales | Infrastructure | Layer 2 | Layer 3 | WAN | DDoS | Cloud Connect | DWDM | IPT | SD-WAN | DIASkills and abilities:

  • Strong New Business & Account Management skills
  • Minimum 5 years business experience selling Data and Enterprise Solutions.
  • Experience of the Enterprise telecoms industry.
  • Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Experience of working in a multicultural environments.
  • Knowledge of other languages is highly desirable
  • Key responsibilities:
  • Sell services: Layer 2 and 3 Global WAN, DDoS, Cloud Connect, DWDM, IPT, SD-WAN and DIA to enterprise customers in the assigned territory.
  • Responsible for identifying and engaging prospective enterprise customers.
  • Build and strategically manage a solid pipeline to consistently grow revenue.
  • Execute a sales strategy that consistently meets or exceeds revenue objectives.
  • Use CRM (Salesforce) to analyse and manage the pipeline, to engage support functions such Sales Engineering, Bid Management, Service Delivery, Legal etc., to forecast lead times and revenue.
  • Direct selling to enterprise customers as well as working with channel to increase sales pipeline and awareness of the organisation as an enterprise provider.
  • Actively drive the customer journey - from solution definition to quoting, from contract negotiations to life- cycle management.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of industry and customers to identify and meet their needs.
  • Create strong relationships based on trust, integrity and customer satisfaction to effectively drive sales and repeat business

  • Thorough knowledge of the enterprise customer base in the assigned geography.
  • Availability to travel to meet customers, attend industry events etc.
  • Ambition and a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
