Role: 3rd Line Systems EngineerLocation: London & remoteSalary & Benefits: £50,000 Plus £4K Training & 25 HolidaysSector: Managed IT ServicesOne of the UKs leading IT service providers is on the lookout for a proactive and forward-thinking 3rd Line Systems Engineer to join their team to take on a wide range of exciting responsibilities, across infrastructure and projects.Role Overview- Monitor client IT platforms and identify areas for improvement- Work alongside and advise account managers to leas the technology change process for clients IT systems and infrastructure- Act as the key escalation point for all change and transformation processes- Act as a senior point of escalation for Tier 1 & Tier 2 engineers, ensuring that issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner- Take a lead on patch management for clients infrastructure, including software and hardware, and ensure the clients are on-boarded into the patch management process- Identify opportunities for processes to be automatedTechnical Requirements- Azure- SCCM or Intune- Exchange and Office 365- Servers - Windows and virtualised (VMware or Hyper-V)- PowerShell or Bash scripting- Backups (Veeam, Symantec, or Commvault)- Active Directory and Group Policy- Networking Protocols - DNS/DHCP/TCP-IP/LAN/WAN- Routers, Switches, and Firewalls- VPNsPackage & Benefits- 25 Days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays- £4,000 Annual Training Allowance- Private medical insurance- Hybrid working modelIf you want to further progress in your career and take your next step in one of the UKs best MSPs, apply now!In Technology Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
