Job Description

3rd Line Support/Project Delivery -£40,000-£45,000Greater LondonMy client is a leading Managed Service Provider with a global reach and a number of large multinational customers. They are going through some really exciting growth and for the right person there is a fantastic opportunity to grow with the company.We are looking for a 3rd Line Support/Project Delivery Engineer to take on a dual role within the company. As a senior 3rd Line Support/Project Delivery you will be the final point of escalation for any technical issues for our clients or escalated from the 1st and 2nd line teams.The majority of the day-to-day duties for the 3rd Line Support/Project Delivery will be delivering projects for our customers sometimes on client site but often using MDM software such as In-tune/JAMF.On a daily basis the 3rd Line Support/Project Delivery will be responsible for:

  • Delivering MS solutions and deployments to customers on-premise and remotely
  • Providing technical support to our clients both onsite and remotely.
  • Research and seek solutions to problems and documenting findings in a timely and effective manner.
  • Contributing to helping manage the helpdesk ensuring tickets are handled quickly and to a high standard.
  • Assisting in managing client relationships and representing the company in a positive manner.
  • Managing various cloud services as necessary.
Ideally you will have previous Project delivery experience and experience of most of the following:
  • Microsoft / Office 365 / Azure / Exchange platformadvanced knowledge.
  • MDM software such as In-tune / JAMF advanced knowledge.
  • Experience working on major projects as part of a team.
  • Networking - routers, switches, vlans and other networking aspects.
  • Windows server knowledge / Hyper V virtualisation -desirable.
  • Remote support software such as TeamViewer and Splashtop
  • RMM tool knowledge.
  • Anti-Virus / security software such as Webroot and ESET.
  • General PC / Mac trouble shooting skills.
  • Telephony / VoIP systems experience.
  • Backup / server monitoring tools.
  • Autotask and IT Glue CRM platforms knowledge is beneficial.
  • AWS / Google cloud knowledge desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers written and verbal.
  • Various other skills related to providing IT services to other businesses.
