Job Description

Job Title: 2nd Line Infrastructure Engineer (Crypto/Blockchain Industry)Location: London, EC1Y 1BESalary: £40,000 - £45,000 (Hybrid, Certs, 25 Days) We are seeking an experienced 2nd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join our clients team in the Crypto/Blockchain Industry. The ideal candidate will have a track record of supporting a secure, scalable and highly available IT Infrastructure and a customer orientedapproach to their job.Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd/ some 3rd line technical support and resolve complex incidents on both physical and virtual servers
  • Design, deploy, configure and maintain Windows based servers
  • Maintain the server and network infrastructure
  • Manage and maintain the hardware and software infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues
  • Monitor and maintain the system performance
  • Monitor and maintain system security
  • Develop and implement system upgrades
  • Document and maintain system configuration and operation

Technical Skills Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Extensive experience with Windows operating systems
  • Expertise in virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V)
  • Knowledge of distributed storage solutions (SAN, NAS)
  • Expertise in networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of system security and hardening
  • Experience with scripting and automation
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Customer-oriented approach
