Job Description

Urgently seeking a Database and MIS Support Engineer for a group of London Schools.If you are a friendly and supportive and have worked in a similar capacity, this could be just the role for you. We would particulalry love to hear from those with Bromcom MIS experience but, similar system support would also be relevant.The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection, organisation, input, analysis, presentation and distribution of data relating to pupil attainment and progress. Bespoke training will also be provided on how to support a range of data tools, cutting edge visualisation tools, and other powerful analytics tools that have been developed in-house.This is a fantastic opportunity, for an enthusiastic and ambitious School Data Analyst/Support looking to grow in their career, to join our talented data and systems team.Your duties will be based around:

  • Act as the dedicated 1st and 2nd Line helpdesk support contact for the MIS via telephone and e-mail
  • Support with the preparation and production of statutory returns e.g., school census, workforce census, key stage returns
  • A remote access service for problem resolution, with site visits scheduled routinely and as required Software and technical support for the dedicated SIMS SQL Server
  • Procedure instructions in order to comply with statutory initiatives
  • Support to schools for software upgrades as required
  • Advice on the use of SIMS
  • Additional training/consultancy/school visits provided on a regular basis
  • Workshops in accordance with the academic calendar to ensure that all users are able to complete business processes using their MIS
    • Your role will be office based two days per week, in W12, then based at different schools in the North West London area.*Please note, the role will be field based, however, at present will be fully remote during the Covid Lockdown. #SIMS, MIS, System Support, System Training and Support Immediate start for the successful applican, an Enhanced DBS will need to be done before starting. *Salary £30K + Comprehensive Bens.
