The department - Schroders Greencoat Schroders Greencoat is the leading investment manager dedicated solely to renewables and has around £8 billion of wind, solar and bioenergy assets under management across a range of publicly listed vehicles, private market pooled funds and Separate ManagedAccounts investing in renewable infrastructure. On behalf of our clients, we currently own and operate assets in the UK, Europe and the US. We are an integral part of Schroders Private Assets division and constitutes an important focus of the Groups strategyfor expansion. The team at Schroders Greencoat is highly experienced in renewable energy fund management, asset management and strategy and is comprised of 100 people operating from offices across the UK, Ireland, Continental Europe, and North America. The Programme The Graduate Programme at Schroders Greencoat is intended to provide broad renewables infrastructure exposure across product creation, strategy, distribution and client service. As part of the Graduate Programme, youll be given training to help you performto the best of your abilities. We are looking for graduates who enjoy helping solve problems and are keen to work on new and changing scenarios each day. Were also keen to hear from graduates who wish to build a broad career within our renewable infrastructureplatform. You will need to show tenacity and skill in helping to find optimal solutions to complex problems as well as acting with integrity at all times. Some of your tasks may include: Work with the product and distribution teams to launch new products and specialist strategies to grow the business. This involves research of new investment themes, supporting the structuring of new products and the creation of client presentations Support in the management of existing portfolio assets, for example performance analysis and asset optimisation What youll be like Genuine and demonstrable passion and interest in renewables Good interpersonal and communication skills Innovative and analytical - youre happy to think outside the box and look for a fresh perspective Happy to get involved in variety of tasks and projects, potentially including working across the Greencoat Schroder office network, in particular London and Frankfurt Good work ethic and commitment to the role, with an ability to perform under pressure Growth mindset: we understand you may make mistakes, and when you do, we are looking for you to learn from these. The knowledge, skills and qualifications were looking for An honours degree or equivalent - Finance and Accounting (or related) undergraduate or postgraduate degree preferred but not required You will be in your final year of study or already graduated European language skills (German and / or French) are a strong plus.
