Pay: Kent range 3 (see vacancy detailsfor more info) Start Date: 1st September 2021Riverview Junior School has an excitingopportunity for a skilled, highly motivated and enthusiastic 1:1 TeachingAssistant to support a child in KS2 with their communication and interactionneeds. The post is a temporary contract to cover maternity leave for31.25 hours a week (term time only) 8.30am to 3.45pm commencing 1stSeptember 2021 with an expected end date of 28th February 2022,however, this could be extended until 31st August 2022. The salary is Kent Range 3 =£18,039 FTE. As post is Term Time only 38 weeks, actual pro rata annualsalary = £12,712.26. However, early in the new academic year the pay range willbe reviewed by the Trust Board and any resulting adjustments will be backdatedto 1 September 2021. You must be committed to helpingto provide an inclusive education and be passionate about improving theoutcomes for all pupils. The successful candidate will need to be passionateabout working with children with Special Educational Needs, and who can help ushave a positive impact on our pupils. The successful applicant willideally have the initiative to follow and implement personalised educationplans with the child in order to help them reach their full potential.
