Job Description

Role: Lead Audio Visual Engineer Salary: Competitive base salary + commission + fantastic benefits packageLocation: Field based (within M25 Corridor)Duration: Permanent roleHours- Full time (Mon-Fri) Plus Paid overtime as required My client is an energetic, success-driven company specialising in the design and integration of audio-visual technologies, Infrastructure, telecoms, and Active IT. They provide bespoke and quality solutions both UK-wide (London) and Europe, serving clientsacross a range of sectors in the commercial industry.Due to internal promotion, we are looking to appoint an experienced Lead AV Engineer. This role is integral to the continued development & growth of the Company, and you will work with the existing installations team to install a variety of solutions intonew and existing projects across all the companies markets. An exciting opportunity to join a great Team.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Installation of projects in a timely and professional manner
  • Assisting with service calls
  • Managing and organising small projects
  • Keeping engineers van sundry stock levels consistent for consumables
  • Occasional deliveries to site for your own projects
  • Liaising with internal staff to ensure project delivery of goods/procurement etc
  • Managing a junior engineer, providing focus and day to day task allocation
  • Attending training with specific manufacturers and suppliers as and when organised
Key qualities & experience required include:
  • Excellent technical knowledge of a variety of AV equipment
  • Good Communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • High quality solder terminations
  • Experienced use of all hand tools to enable installation of project
  • Comfortable managing a junior engineer
  • Great team player
  • Ability to problem solve and produce a concise solution.
