Job Description

Do you have experience of working with big Grocers such as ASDA, Tesco, and Sainsbury’s OR big pharmacies such as Boots, Superdrug or LloydsMy client based in Bath are an E-commerce business who operate on a global basis and develop, manufacture and distribute hundreds of own-brand products. They are currently looking for a National Account Manager who will lead the expansion of the online brand into Mainstream Retail. This is a new role to the business and the NAM will be supported by a Sales Administrator.Salary: £45k basic dependent on experience, bonus to be discussed, Mobile, LaptopLocation: Office based BathBenefits: 32 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension, staff discount, free gym membership, holiday purchase scheme, cycle to work and computer scheme, benefits platform, dining card etc....The role is commercially focused and is responsible for delivering ambitious YOY growth targets through the acquisition, management and growth of new and existing customer accounts. It will work in partnership with other commercial departments (Product, Brand Marketing, Creative and Content) to deliver an exciting and innovative product range to meet their customer’s needs.The successful candidate will have proven Account Management skills ideally both in the UK and internationally, and experience within the FMCG industry working with high street retail accounts such as Boots, Superdrug, ASDA and Waitrose.You will be developing the sales strategy, building robust commercial account plans, negotiate and manage annual joint business plan with the customer to deliver against business targets. Ultimately you will be responsible for driving sales and profit growth to deliver annual sales and profit targets!Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders will be key to this role (buying, marketing, product, data insight etc...) as well as working with the retail teams to develop and land all new product launches successfully into the retail accounts, liaising closely with merchandising team and retailer supply teams to create accurate monthly forecasts by customer by SKU!If you are experienced at proactively seeking and driving new business opportunities to deliver incremental sales and profit and have a strong understanding of market landscape, competitor activity and retailer strategies to leverage existing and create new opportunities......then this role could be ideal for you!In return my client offers a competitive salary and strong benefits including; 32 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension, staff discount, free gym membership, holiday purchase scheme, cycle to work and computer scheme, benefits platform, dining card etc....Interested Please apply online or contact me directly
