Job Description

Would you be interested to join a leading facilities management company with a reputation for excellence Atalian Servest is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our passionate and driven team in Loanhead Edinburgh!Reference: GRP/Is/25-10/667Job Title: Management AccountantSalary : Competitive Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 09:00 - 17:00 - 37.5 hours per weekLocation: Loanhead Edinburgh - Applicant must have the right to work in the UKYour primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting other members of the business partnering team with month-end result production
  • Processing of accruals and prepayments as informed by operational teams in line with financial process and principles
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Tracking and reconciling cash transactions through the business
  • Building relationships with other finance team members
  • Monitor completion of balance sheet reconciliations and support where required
  • Support sales ledger team with income allocation and billing details when required
  • Assisting with audit queries and ensuring accurate working papers to support postings made
  • We will also offer study assistance for this role
About You:
  • Planning and diary management skills
  • Able to manage own workload and prioritise workloads to important deadlines
  • Clear communication skills (use of email and calls)
  • Understanding of catering or retail operations would be desirable to help improve understanding of data processing
  • Analytical skills to investigate variances and cost trends
  • Strong excel skills including the use of formula and pivot tables using multi-system source data tables
  • Minimum AAT level 4 or sufficient QBE demonstrated through previous positions held
  • Previously holding management accountant role
