Job Description

Hire AssistantAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Hire Assistant based in Loanhead. The successful candidate will earn £20,000 - £25,000 a year.This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a company who are growing year on year and are consistently delivering the highest standards of hardware and software based solutions.Role Requirements

  • Basic Word, Excel & Outlook skills.
  • Knowledge of InspHire Office hire management software would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Great communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues.
  • Good IT/Computer skills.
  • Previous experience in the hire or construction industry would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Trimble equipment desirable but not essential.
Role Responsibilities
  • Keep systems up to date with all on-hires, off-hires, collections, deliveries, stock locations & statuses.
  • You will provide support in all areas of internal sales, working with the internal sales team completing hire transactions, stock takes and administration tasks.
  • You will also be involved in testing and running equipment and repair referrals.
  • You will be involved as part of the first line of contact team for hire customers, over the counter and on the telephone so customer service skills and an excellent phone manner is essential.
