Job Description

Deputy Head Of Supply ChainFirst Achieves Engineering Division have a fantastic opportunity as a deputy head of supply chain in the naval defence industry.Based in Loanhead, you will be working for a well established business that is growing rapidly in the naval defence industry.Whats on offer

  • Salary up to £63K DOE
  • Monday - Thursday, so enjoy a 3 day weekend every week!
Key Responsibilities
  • As a deputy head of the supply chain you will work closely with the head of the supply chain to ensure workloads are managed and distributed fairly.
  • You will negotiate contract terms with suppliers.
  • You will help grow and develop supplier relationships.
  • Provide clear leadership to coaching and mentoring of other staff.
  • Effective leadership, management, and development of the supply chain team.
Required experience
  • Previous management skills
  • Must hold a degree or masters degree within business or something similar.
  • Must hold a CIPS level 5.
  • Strong background in supplier relationships.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Motivated and disciplined individual.
  • Experience using ERP systems and MS packages
