Reference:/JC/10-12/36/22/NK1Job Title: Compliance Assistant Salary: CompetitiveWorking Hours: Monday to Friday - 08.00 - 17.00 - 37.5 hours per week Location: LoanheadAtalian Servest is currently recruiting for a Compliance Assistant to join our passionate and driven Compliance Team in the office in Loanhead (Edinburgh).The Compliance Assistant will report directly to the Senior Compliance Manager.This is a busy and varied role which will require excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to the demands of the business.Your primary responsibilities will include:Roles within the Team you will assist with:

  • Various Grade Card applications.
  • Gas Engineer (GasSafe & FGas) Registrations & Training.
  • Processing candidate training and assessments in line with their job role requirements.
  • Add and update applicant records into the database.
  • Assist with business Accreditation updates (which includes business audits).
  • Completion of questionnaires from Clients for business needs.
  • Helping to maintain the business Accident reporting system.
  • Assist in administration tasks to help support the Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance Team.
The Team are flexible to cover the variety of roles under Compliance and training is given to allow each member to multi-task and allow your continuous development within the business.About You:
  • Conversant in MS Office Packages, particularly Exceltraining can be given to bring you up to speed with latest versions of packages.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all written correspondence and when entering employee data into the systems.
  • The ability to communicate with people from different levels of the organisation and across the different lines of business.
  • Good team player with the ability to build effective team relationships and promote an environment of trust and flexibility.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated.
  • To have a flexible and positive attitude to work and the confidence to work under your own initiative.
