Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Librarian for 3-6 months the role will be 35 hours per week. Previous experience is essential and they should be a qualified Librarian. We will require references and DBS clearance.Main duties are as follows:

  • Running the library, dealing with all enquiries, research and resource requests, cataloguing and classification of all acquisitions and the library management system.
  • Managing the library budget including purchasing decisions, allocation of invoice/credit card expenditure, the evaluation and selection of new resources both print and digital.
  • Sourcing and placing of all book orders.
  • Keen eye for attention to detail and accuracy
