Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business)have exciting opportunities for a Food Production Operatives to join a well-established company who specialise in manufacturing savoury products and ready meals. Our clients business is growing and as a result, we are now seeking new talent to join their manufacturing teams. The environment is busy and fast paced.Contract Type: Temporary- on goingLocation:LlantrisantSalary:£8.20ph and£9.92phShifts: Various - Mornings, afternoons and nights.About You:Are you currently looking for a full-time permanent jobDo you have either warehouse, production or packing experienceWould you want a Monday to Friday shift patternCan you travel to Llantrisant area (CF72)The successful candidate will be responsible for packing products into boxes, stacking pallets, moving pallets while maintaining health and safety standards and ensuring product quality.You will spend most of your working day standing, and the work often involves bending, lifting, carrying and loading.You will be responsible for taking the finished product of the manufacturing process and ensuring that it is packaged in line with company and industry standards, making it ready for sale or distributionOther duties will include cleaning packaging materials, loading items into containers, and weighing and labelling the items appropriately. You will also perform final checks on products.Experience: Food manufacturing experience would be preferably, but not essential.
