The team is drivenby innovation, integrity, and a shared vision of sustainability.Role Overview: As a Management Accountant, youll be instrumental in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Finance Manager, youll play a key role in providing accurate financial insights, enablingus to optimise operations and achieve our sustainability goals.Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and performance reports for the Waste Business division.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, working closely with operational teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Cost Analysis: Analyse operational costs and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.
Financial Planning: Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business case development.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and industry standards within the Waste Business division.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing financial expertise and insights to support operational excellence.

Qualifications:

ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
Experience in management accounting or financial analysis, preferably within the waste management or environmental sector.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
Passion for environmental sustainability and a desire to contribute to positive change.
